Egg Roll Cabbage and Sweet Chili Glazed Grilled Pork Loin Chops

This easy dish gives you all the delicious Asian flavors. The cabbage side literally tastes like the filling of an egg roll, and matches perfectly with the sweet pork loin.

Pork Loin Chops

  1. Cut up a pork loin into chops- or use pre-cut loin chops.

  2. Glaze the chops with 3 simple ingredients:

  • Sprinkle each side of the chop with garlic salt

  • Mix Thai Sweet Chili Sauce & Soy Sauce (I use low sodium) and pour over the top of the meat, in a dish with a raised sides, and turn the chops to coat both sides. Set aside while you prep the side and rice.

  • Once you are ready, pre-heat your grill to medium, and grill the chops

Egg Roll Cabbage

  1. Clean and prepare your vegetables:

  • About 2 cups Chopped or shredded cabbage- not too thin so you keep some crunch when cooking. I like a mix of green and red cabbage.

  • 2-3 mini sweet bell peppers - sliced vertically into strips

  • 3 Green Onions Chopped

2. Heat your pan or wok on medium high

3. Add your favorite cooking oil- I used about 2 tablespoons of light flavor olive oil

and about a 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil to the hot pan. The sesame oil has great

flavor, but too much can be overpowering.

  • Add 2 cloves minced garlic

  • Add your vegetables and sauté/stir-fry - hold the green onion

  • Season with a dash of ground ginger, salt and pepper- I add a bit extra pepper than normal to this as I love the peppery inside of an eggroll

  • Add about a tablespoon of Soy sauce and the green onion, and continue to sauté till cabbage and peppers are soft, but still have a bit of crispness.

Serve with your favorite rice- I used Jasmine. Would also pair great with some steamed edamame. A drizzle of Sriracha on top is a great way to add a little spice.
